How to reactivate your water leak detector
Log in to the sfty app or download it if you don't already have it. You can find it on Google Play and App Store by searching for sfty.
In order to reinstall your water leak detector, you must first reset your device.
1. Reset the device
To reset the wifi settings, press a pin into the back of the device where it says RESET. Hold the pin in until you hear a beep. You must first remove the back cover to access this.
If the device does not beep, you most likely need to replace the batteries.
2. Install Water Leak Detector
Log in to the sfty app. From the home page, you will see a list of all installed devices. To reconfigure your wifi, follow the steps explained below.
Are you having problems?
The device is not flashing blue --> The batteries are most likely dead and need to be replaced with new ones.
Unable to connect to the device --> Check that the app has been granted all the access it needs. If the phone is still struggling to connect to the device via Bluetooth, there may be problems if the iPhone is connected to other devices like Garmin watch or AirPods. It may help to remove/forget the connection to these devices before you try agin.
The installation fails at the end --> Check that you have entered the correct password. If the password is correct, it may help to delete the device before installing. Select "Delete device" from the gear wheel, then select "Add product" from the gear wheel inside the home.
